Beer and bratwurst lovers prepare yourselves.
The German Air Force Air Defense Center at Fort Bliss will be host to the 7th annual Oktoberfest beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 12-13 in Building 747, at the intersection of Carter and Pleasonton roads on Fort Bliss.
Make sure you make it out there before the traditional tapping of the first keg 7 p.m. Friday. Another tapping will take place Saturday. This year’s live entertainment will be German band, “The Eyachtaler.”
If you are an off-post visitor, you'll need to get a day pass from one of the Pass Offices at Robert E. Lee Gate and Cassidy Gate.
