Celebration of Our MountainsThis year’s 15th annual Celebration of Our Mountains honors the Franklin Mountains. The festivities encourage you and your family to participate in hikes, field trips, nature walks, bicycle rides and so much more. KLAQ Haunted WarehouseFace your worst nightmare at the city’s annual haunted warehouse at 1323 Lee Trevino. Sponsored by KLAQ, this year’s theme is Twisted Circus. Tickets are $10 from Oct. 1-28. If you dare to go Oct. 29-31, tickets are $12. Tickets for children 12 and under at $5. The haunted warehouse is open from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. The ProducersThe UTEP Dinner Theatre will kick off its 2008-2009 season of musicals with The Producers. The shows start at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. There is one dinner matinee performance at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. There will be matinees without dinner at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 19 and 26. 20th Century BroadwayEl Pasoans will get a chance to enjoy a spectacular show of some of Broadway’s biggest hits including “Les Miserables,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “CATS,” “Dreamgirls,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and more. The hits will be performed by the Broadway stars. The shows start at 8 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets cost $35-$50, plus service charge. Information: (915) 532-4661

Trinity Site TourWhite Sands Missile Range is hosting a tour the historic site of the first atom bomb explosion. Admission to this historic site is free. The tour will give you a chance to see where the world's first plutonium core for a bomb was assembled, tested and thrust the world into the atomic age. Information: (575) 678-1134

Amigo Airsho 2008The 27th annual Amigo Airsho takes off Oct. 4-5, at Biggs Army Airfield. This year’s event includes the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, U.S. Army Golden Parachutes, a jet-powered school bus, static aircraft displays and more. Get advance tickets at Circle K or Albertson’s. Arts International Juried ExhibitionThe El Paso Art Association will host the 41st annual Arts International Juried Exhibition at the El Paso Public Library Main Branch, 501 N. Oregon. The Wizard of OzKids-N-Co. will open its 2008-2009 season with the beloved tale of a girl who is swept away to the magical land of Oz. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5-$7. Information: (915) 351-1455

Ron Harvey Golf TournamentThe UTEP Alumni Association will host the 11th Annual Ron Harvey Golf Tournament at 11:30 a.m. at the Fort Bliss Underwood Golf Complex. The tournament is a four-person scramble. The cost is $400 per team or $110 per person and includes green fees, carts, lunch and dinner. The event is part of the UTEP Homecoming Celebration and benefit the Ron Harvey Endowed Scholarship. Information: (915) 747-8600

Disney on IceDisney hit show “High School Musical” slides onto the ice at the El Paso County Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
