A Walk Around Fort Bliss

Spend hours learning about the history of the post and its weapons at the Fort Bliss and Air Defense Artillery Museums. The museums are housed in one building and draw you in with an impressive display of rockets and tanks in front of the museums’ entrance.

Inside the building you’ll find numerous artifacts that outline the history of Fort Bliss and Biggs Army Airfield from 1849 to the present.

The Air Defense Artillery Museum chronicles the branch’s history along with the origins of the coast and anti-aircraft artillery from World War I to the present.
